Aircraft Support Mechanic

About the position

Responsibilities

  • Schedule and maintain a timetable of servicing and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment.
  • Perform annual major service TPMs on equipment throughout TechOps.
  • Make repairs and adjustments to equipment, including replacements of fluids, filters, and belts.
  • Complete minor repairs and adjustments on equipment such as motors, pneumatic systems, and conveyor systems.
  • Utilize diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, and engineering specifications for post-service checks.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
  • At least 18 years of age and authorization to work in the United States.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to pass a background check including a government-required fingerprint-based criminal history records check.
  • Pass a DOT required pre-employment drug screen and submit to random drug and alcohol testing thereafter.
  • Read, write, speak, and understand English.

Nice-to-haves

  • Airframe & Powerplant license (preferred but not required).
