About the position

As an Amazon Fresh Grocery Associate, you will play a crucial role in delivering an extraordinary grocery shopping experience for our customers. This position requires individuals who are passionate about customer service and are eager to learn in a fast-paced environment. Your daily tasks will vary based on the needs of the store, and you will be expected to engage with customers, provide product knowledge, and assist with various operational tasks. Your responsibilities will include greeting customers and engaging in friendly conversations to understand their shopping needs. You will also be responsible for offering product recommendations and providing information to help customers make informed decisions. Operating the cash register and assisting customers in self-service checkout lanes will be part of your duties, along with processing returns from both in-store and Amazon.com. In addition to customer engagement, you will prepare fresh food items such as cold salads, pizzas, rotisserie chickens, and sandwiches. Maintaining store presentation by stocking shelves, setting up merchandise displays, and ensuring a clean sales floor will be essential. You will also manage inventory by unloading product deliveries and organizing the stockroom, as well as picking items to fulfill customer grocery orders for pickup and delivery. This position requires flexibility in scheduling, with shifts available between 4 a.m. and 12 a.m., and may require up to 40 hours per week during the training period. Once training is complete, standard scheduling will begin, and you will be compensated for your training hours at the hourly rate specified in your offer letter.

Requirements
