Assistant Director of Child Care

We're Hiring: Assistant Director – Bright, Passionate & Ready to Make a Difference!

Location: 2117 N Parkwood Lane, Wichita, KS and E 37th St. N. (both locations)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Type: Full-Time
Background Check & CPR/First Aid Certification Required (within 30 days)
Training Provided & Paid by the Company

**MUST have at least 4 years experience working in a licensed child care center**

We're looking for an Assistant Director who brings energy, heart, leadership, and a strong sense of responsibility to join our warm and welcoming team. You’ll be helping to manage the daily operations of our vibrant childcare center and ensuring both children and staff are supported, safe, and smiling each day.

What You’ll Be Doing (but not limited to!):

  • Partnering with the Director and Team Leader to coordinate smooth daily operations
  • Ensuring classrooms are properly staffed and organized (including breaks and ratios)
  • Supporting staff, stepping in where needed — from classrooms to the kitchen. Be able and willing to step in for the day in kitchen, substitute in a classroom, relieve a staff member for the day if needed, help with lunch breaks.
  • Providing top-notch customer service to families and visitors
  • Answering phones with professionalism and warmth
  • Giving engaging tours to prospective families, you're the face of our center!
  • Ensuring compliance with all company policies and State regulations
  • Interacting and engaging with children daily, because you LOVE early childhood education!

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate’s Degree ( or CDD preferred but not required)
  • Early Childhood Education or related field highly preferred
