Assistant Professor, Political Science

The Department of Political Science at the University of Nebraska at Omaha invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor in the area of international relations. The university and department have a strong commitment to achieving diversity among faculty and staff. The appointment starts August 15, 2014.     Ideal candidates would be expected to contribute the on-line graduate program.     Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Political Science or International Relations, extensive preparation in the area of international relations, and appropriate language skills. Candidates must be prepared to teach the survey course in international relations and a subset of the following courses: international organizations, international law, international political economy, diplomacy, gender and global politics, and/or research methods. Additional expertise in a particular region of the world is also welcome.
