<p>Job Title : Associate, Data Analyst </p><p>Location : Toronto, Ontario, Canada</p><p>Job Type : Full Time</p><p><br></p><p>We’re looking for a Data Analytics Associate who is passionate about turning data into actionable insights and building solutions that drive smarter business decisions.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>About the role:</strong></p><p> In this position, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and optimize data tools, processes, and pipelines. You’ll have the opportunity to work end-to-end—from identifying business challenges to delivering solutions—while ensuring data quality, accessibility, and trustworthiness.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>What you’ll do:</strong></p><ul><li>Develop and manage data pipelines and structures within our data lake and Snowflake environments.</li><li>Build and automate reporting dashboards and visualizations that provide meaningful insights to the business.</li><li>Maintain and improve key data processes to ensure accuracy, reliability, and efficiency.</li><li>Conduct exploratory analysis on large and complex datasets to uncover opportunities and solve business problems.</li><li>Ensure data is well-documented, high quality, and easy to use across the organization.</li><li>Partner with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Basic qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree </li><li>Background in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related quantitative fields.</li><li>Strong foundation in SQL or data transformation tools (e.g., dbt); Python experience is a plus.</li><li>Familiarity with data pipeline development and maintenance.</li><li>Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical audiences.</li><li>Exposure to Unix/Linux environments, Git, AWS, or APIs.</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Preferred qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Hands-on experience with backend technologies like Go, AWS Lambda, and S3.</li><li>Knowledge of version control tools such as Git.</li><li>Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins), microservices, or API development/integration.</li></ul><p></p>
