✈️ Role at a glance
Eastern Air Express is accepting applications for experienced Direct Entry Captains to operate the Boeing 737NG. You will lead the flight deck, ensure uncompromising safety and compliance, and represent our values while flying a dynamic, seniority-based schedule. This position requires a current FAA ATP, a valid First-Class Medical, and a strong command of FARs. Preference is given to candidates with B-737 type ratings and prior Part 121 Captain experience.
🧭 What you'll do
Exercise full PIC authority to deliver safe, compliant, and efficient 737NG operations under Part 121.
Lead and mentor the flight crew, modeling disciplined airmanship, decisive CRM, and strong situational awareness.
Ensure adherence to company SOPs and all applicable FARs, including performance, MEL/CDL, and operational control requirements.
Coordinate seamlessly with Dispatch, Maintenance, and Inflight to support on-time performance and customer experience.
Manage irregular operations with composure, sound judgment, and clear, timely communication.
Champion safety leadership, report proactively, and uphold Eastern Air Express’s culture and values on every leg.
🧰 What you bring
Current FAA ATP and valid First-Class Medical Certificate.
Strong knowledge of FARs and proven leadership in a high-tempo airline environment.
Ability to multitask and remain composed under pressure while leading multi-crew operations.
Willingness to travel extensively and work a seniority-based schedule (days, nights, weekends, holidays).

✅ Minimum flight experience
Total Time: 7,000 hours (only time in the operating seat of a turboprop and/or turbojet counts)
Turbine: 7,000 hours
PIC: 2,000 hours on multi-crew, multi-engine, commercial aircraft
Multi-Engine: 2,000 hours
Part 121: 1,000 hours
Wide-Body PIC: Previous PIC time on wide-body aircraft, preferably B767 or B777
Type Rating: Not required (B-737 type preferred; training provided if not typed)
🧾 Certificates and clearances
FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit
Valid passport (or equivalent authorization for unrestricted worldwide travel)
Valid U.S. Driver’s License
Meets all FAR 121.436 requirements for Direct Entry Captain status
Successful completion of pre-employment DOT drug and alcohol testing, criminal history records check (CHRC), and ongoing testing compliance
