Boba Barista Job Description

We’re looking for an energetic and friendly Boba Barista to join our team! You’ll be responsible for crafting delicious milk teas, fruit teas, smoothies, and specialty drinks while providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate is passionate about beverages, enjoys working with people, and pays attention to detail to ensure every drink meets our quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet customers as they arrive
• Provide menus and answer questions about drink options and ingredients
• Take accurate orders, noting preferences such as flavor choices, ice levels, and sugar adjustments
• Prepare drinks consistently according to recipes and presentation standards
• Process payments accurately (cash and card)
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area and workstations
• Ensure all equipment is functioning properly and report any issues promptly
• Follow health and safety guidelines at all times
• Communicate customer feedback and suggest potential new drink ideas to management

Qualifications & Skills

• Previous experience as a barista or in food service preferred
• Familiarity with beverage preparation and brewing equipment
• Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently during busy hours
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed
• Basic math skills for handling cash and measurements
• High school diploma or equivalent (additional training is a plus)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour
