Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Elementary School (SY 25/26)

Worcester Cultural Academy is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our student-centered Health Services team. In this role, you will work collaboratively with school nurses, faculty, staff, students, and families to provide high-quality, direct and indirect care to students in grades K–6.

You will be responsible for delivering personal care services and assisting with the coordination of student health needs, helping ensure a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for all.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct health care through assessment, intervention, and followup
  • Collaborate with School Registered Nurse to support overall student wellness
  • Assist with health screenings, documentation, and communication with families
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with school health protocols

Qualifications:

  • Current certification as a CNA or Medical Assistant
  • Experience working with pediatric populations preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds with appropriate support
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a teamoriented approach

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday
  • 4 hours per day during the school year

Compensation:

  • Hourly rate commensurate with experience

About Worcester Cultural Academy Charter Public School

Worcester Cultural Academy (WCA) is a free charter public school located in Worcester, MA opening in August 2023 with grades Kindergarten through 4th grade. The school is partnering with EL Education (formerly known as Expeditionary Learning) to grant students an opportunity to connect what they are learning in classrooms to real-world applications through high-quality learning experiences.
