Custodians:
- High school diploma or G.E.D. (desired)
- Custodial cleaning experience in public or private buildings preferred.
- Practical working knowledge of good housekeeping practices and procedures preferred.
- Candidates must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds repeatedly on any given day. May be required to carry this weight up and down stairs repeatedly.
- Will be required to assist with snow removal.
Food Service Workers:
The Food Service Worker positions involve being part of a dedicated team that works together to provide outstanding meals and friendly customer service at a fast pace to the students of Lincoln Public Schools. Job duties include all aspects of meal preparation, serving and clean up. Practical working knowledge of food service and food safety practices and procedures preferred.Pay rate starting at: $16.95 - $23.00/hour
Transportation:
- Regular Route hours are typically 6:30 to 9:30 a.m., and 2:30 to 4:30 p.m, with a potential for working during the mid-day.
- Substitute Drivers have the option of working partial days.
- Excellent driving record required.
- LPS provides all the necessary training to obtain CDL license and School Bus Permit.

Transportation Para:
Will assist students while traveling on the bus to their education sites. Students include those in the early childhood programs; elementary, middle schools; and those students with special needs (including high school).Shift routes are typically 6:30 to 9:30 a.m., and 2:30 to 4:30 p.m., with a potential for working during the mid-day.
Regular routes are available as well as substitute positions. Substitute Bus Paras have the option of working partial days.
Salary for regular transportation paraeducator: $$17.30/hour + benefits.
Salary for substitute transportation paraeducator: $17.30/hour.
Paraeducator:
Responsibilities include assisting teachers in carrying out the district's educational program; classroom and lunchroom supervision; aiding a student with special needs - learning and behavioral needs, as well as mental and physical challenges; early childhood programs; and school entrance monitoring and general supervision.Position hours range from 2 to 7 hours/day. Paraeducator positions requiring physical activities are subject to a post-offer screen/physical test related to those assignments. Training and educational requirements will be indicated on each specific posting.
Salary Range: $18.00/hour to $21.50/hour
