Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines.
  • Assist in menu planning, ensuring a variety of nutritious options are available.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, adhering to food safety protocols.
  • Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage and handling techniques are followed.
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver fine dining experiences that meet guest expectations.
  • Participate in catering events, providing excellent service and meal presentation.
  • Utilize knife skills for food preparation, ensuring precision and efficiency.
  • Provide support in the dietary department as needed, including serving meals and assisting with special dietary needs.

Experience

  • Background in menu planning and fine dining is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service within the food industry.
  • Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations is essential.
  • Experience in catering or restaurant settings will be considered an asset.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
