About the position

The Custodial Worker II at Nisqually Red Wind Casino is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for guests and team members. This role involves performing various cleaning tasks throughout the casino, ensuring exceptional service and adherence to hospitality standards. The position requires a positive attitude and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Provide general cleaning of bathrooms, vacuuming, dusting, emptying garbage, and cleaning working areas.

  • Deep clean areas needing additional attention including floor treatments, high dusting, window cleaning, and pressure washing.
  • ,
  • Operate specialized cleaning equipment such as the cardboard baler, riding shampooer, and street sweeper safely and effectively.
  • ,
  • Report to Custodial Shift Lead regarding any issues or problems that arise on assigned shift.
  • ,
  • Provide training to new Custodial Workers, fostering a positive culture and work environment.
  • ,
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • ,
  • One year of professional cleaning experience in a casino, hotel, warehouse, or similar environment.
  • ,
  • Ability to train on and operate specialized equipment such as the cardboard baler, riding shampooer, and street sweeper.
  • ,
  • Ability to obtain certification in Aerial Work Platform Operation and Safety.
  • ,
  • Must be able to obtain a Food Handlers Permit.
  • ,
  • Pass NRWC pre-employment testing.
  • ,
  • Ability to work all shifts including weekends and holidays.
  • ,
  • Ability to obtain a Class III Gaming License.
