Responsibilities

• Efficiently wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold cleanliness standards.
• Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients under supervision.
• Support the culinary team in food handling and basic cooking tasks to ensure timely meal service.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing work areas regularly.
• Help with bussing tables and clearing plates during busy service periods to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Follow food safety protocols and proper sanitation procedures at all times.
• Assist with catering and banquet setups by organizing supplies and ensuring smooth operations during events.

Experience

• Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential.
• Familiarity with food handling, cleaning procedures, and basic kitchen operations is advantageous.
• Experience working in banquet settings or catering environments is a plus.
• Knowledge of hospitality standards related to serving guests and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere is beneficial.
