Openwork is partnering with a nationally recognized, employee-owned company to find a reliable and experienced Forklift Warehouse Worker for their Houston facility. What You’ll Do:
- Operate both sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move products and materials.
- Handle order picking, packing, and shipping with accuracy and efficiency.
- Receive, verify, and organize incoming inventory.
- Keep detailed records and use scanning tools to track orders.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Follow all safety procedures and report any issues promptly.
What We’re Looking For:
- At least 6 months of forklift experience; certification is a bonus.
- Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs. and staying active throughout the shift.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and basic computer/scanning tools.
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and twisting.
- Manual dexterity to operate forklifts, scanners, and other warehouse tools.
- Work in a warehouse environment subject to seasonal temperature changes.
- Use of required personal protective equipment (PPE), including gloves, safety footwear, and protective eyewear.
