Job Title: Care Provider

We are seeking highly skilled and compassionate healthcare professionals to join our team as Care Providers in the Elmvale area.

As a Care Provider, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to residents, ensuring their physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs are met.

To be successful in this role, you must have excellent communication skills, a compassionate and effective interpersonal approach, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to residents, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating their individualized care plans.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date resident records, ensuring timely and safe admissions, transfers, and discharges.
  • Administer medications and narcotics, adhering to established protocols and maintaining accurate medication records.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery and resident outcomes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN), Bachelor of Nursing (BN), or equivalent degree.
  • Current registration as an RN with the College of Nurses.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Valid First Aid and CPR certificates.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Compassionate and effective interpersonal skills.
  • Respect for residents' individuality, privacy, and participation in care decisions.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and standards.
