In this role, you will share your home with an individual and provide crucial support.</p><p>Your average annual income can reach $33,000 (federally tax-free), plus room and board, while helping someone lead a more independent and fulfilling life!</p><p>To qualify, you must be a resident of Illinois and own or rent your home. We currently offer services in the following counties: Boone, Fulton, Ford, Grundy, Hancock, Henderson, Kankakee, Kendall, Knox, LaSalle, Livingston, Marshall, McDonough, McLean, Ogle, Schuyler, Stephenson, Warren, Will, Winnebago, and Woodford.</p><p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Support individuals with daily tasks such as cooking, cleaning, budgeting, and decision-making.</li><li>Assist in developing life skills and fostering independence.</li><li>Administer medications and support medical appointments.</li><li>Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming home environment.</li><li>Document care activities using our web-based case management application (THERAP).</li><li>Facilitate community inclusion and socialization for the individuals you support.</li><li>Transport individuals as needed for appointments or activities.</li></ul><p><b>Additional Responsibilities (based on your preference):</b></p><ul><li>Assist with personal care needs such as bathing, toileting, and feeding.</li><li>Support individuals with medical protocols for specific needs.</li><li>Adapt to the care requirements of individuals with complex conditions.</li><li>Assist with behavioral support as needed.</li></ul><p><b>Your Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>Must be at least 21 years old and a resident of Illinois.</li><li>Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and insurance.</li><li>Active home/renters insurance.</li><li>Experience in caregiving is preferred but not required.</li><li>Access to a reliable computer and the internet.</li><li>Willingness to complete state-mandated training.</li><li>A clean and safe living environment.</li><li>Ability to pass all necessary background checks.</li><li>Mosaic requires you to be a registered healthcare worker (DSP).</li></ul><p>Become part of a rewarding experience that not only supports individuals with disabilities but also enriches your own life.
