(a Navacord Company) is hiring for an enthusiastic and detail oriented Human Resources Coordinator. This individual will be responsible for providing support in the coordination and administration of various HR initiatives across our Navacord broker partner brands within Canada. This is a great opportunity for a junior to intermediate level HR professional willing to learn and grow their career within the HR function. The role will require travel between our multiple office locations in Mississauga, along with our Downtown Toronto location.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p><ul><li>Prepare various administrative correspondences, which can include; employment letters, merit increase letters, bonus letters, new hire packages, STD correspondence and process employee status changes, including promotions, transfers, and terminations.</li><li>Support the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks. Assist employees with benefits inquiries and enrollment processes.</li><li>Support full cycle recruitment administration including job postings, administering online assessments, reviewing resumes, coordination of interviews, reference checks and collection of background checks. </li><li>Support talent acquisition team projects and technology including campus event coordination, LinkedIn Recruiter and Predictive Index support, new technology implementation, and other projects as assigned.</li><li>Maintain an accurate employee database of information for our team along with monthly reporting for our Finance team on people data, and preparation of employee metrics for quarterly business reviews.</li><li>Coordinate Employee onboarding administrative activities including; overseeing new hire orientations and welcome packages, IT Equipment ordering, coordination with management team, training schedules, benefits and RRSP registration.</li><li>Facilitate all Employee offboarding activities including; Resignation summaries, IT Coordination, Exit Surveys, and Companywide Communications as needed.</li><li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date Human Resources and Learning Management System database, as well as, scanning of employee documents into the HRIS/Payroll System.</li><li>Keep organizational chart up-to date utilizing PowerPoint.</li><li>Facilitate various HR projects such as ADP job titling, Paperless file clean up, Engagement Survey data update, etc. </li><li>Complete various ad hoc tasks and HR initiatives as needed.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p><ul><li>Completion of University Degree/College Diploma in Human Resources Management. </li><li>Experience with ADP Workforce Now would be an asset</li><li>2+ years work experience in an HR recruitment or administrative capacity</li><li>Advanced MS Office skills: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint</li><li>High degree of accuracy and attention to detail required</li><li>Strong verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Bilingualism in English and French would be an asset</li><li>Ability to multi-task and prioritize duties in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Organized self-starter and team player with the ability to work well with minimal supervision</li><li>Ability to maintain confidentiality</li><li>Ability to travel to different locations in the GTA (Mississauga, Toronto, North York)</li><li>Bilingual (English/French) is a definite asset</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Jones DesLauriers Insurance Management Inc.<em> is actively committed to support diversity, equity, and inclusion.
