<p><strong>Job Posting Summary</strong></p><p><strong>Position Title:</strong> Project Manager – IT II</p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Toronto, ON – 200 Bloor St. E. (Hybrid: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays onsite)</p><p><strong>Duration:</strong> 18 months (10/13/2025 – 04/12/2027, possibility of extension)</p><p><br></p><p><strong>About the Role</strong></p><p>The Project Manager will oversee one or two projects within the actuarial reinsurance technology portfolio. The role requires strong project management fundamentals, stakeholder engagement, and financial oversight. Responsibilities include managing project logs, status updates, budgets, and risks, while ensuring smooth delivery and alignment across teams. Actuarial domain knowledge is helpful but not required.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Lead project planning, estimation, resource management, and execution.</li><li>Conduct regular status calls and follow-ups to ensure timely delivery.</li><li>Gather and document business requirements (BRDs), ensuring stakeholder sign-off.</li><li>Oversee project logs, DOA, financial tracking, and forecasting.</li><li>Communicate effectively with stakeholders, architects, and team members.</li><li>Identify and mitigate risks, resolving issues proactively.</li><li>Produce status reports and manage project governance deliverables.</li></ul><p><strong>Must-Have Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>4–9 years of experience as a <strong>Project Manager</strong> (mid-level, L2).</li><li>Strong experience in <strong>requirement gathering</strong> and <strong>business requirement documentation (BRDs)</strong>.</li><li>Proven ability in <strong>budget tracking, forecasting, and financial management</strong>.</li><li>PMP certification (mandatory).</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.</li><li>Strong communication, organization, time management, and stakeholder management skills.</li></ul><p><strong>Nice-to-Have Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Familiarity with <strong>GFT processes</strong>.</li><li>Experience with <strong>Microsoft technologies</strong> (SQL, Azure).</li><li>Domain knowledge in <strong>actuarial/reinsurance</strong>.</li></ul><p></p>
