Lead Server at Anchovies & Salt LLC

Anchovies & Salt in Renton, WA is looking for a lead server who's passionate about exceptional service.

Employment Type: Full-time, Part-time

Responsibilities:

  • Lead by example, delivering top-tier service to guests in a fast-paced, fine dining environment.
  • Supervise and train junior servers to ensure service standards are met.
  • Develop and maintain deep knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and wine pairings.
  • Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests with professionalism and empathy.
  • Assist in managing floor operations and ensuring smooth service during busy times.
  • Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate orders.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas.
  • Uphold restaurant policies and procedures while ensuring the highest guest satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience as a server in a fine dining or upscale restaurant.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to train and inspire team members.
  • In-depth knowledge of Vietnamese cuisine and beverage offerings (or willingness to learn).
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to delivering an outstanding guest experience.
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
