Linen Coordinator – Airbnb Short-Term Rental Operations
Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Linen Coordinator to oversee the daily linen operations for our short-term rental properties. This role is responsible for ensuring all units have clean, properly prepared linens for guest arrivals by coordinating with cleaners, laundry staff, and operations teams.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, communicates well, and can manage inventory, schedules, and logistics in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Collect dirty linens daily from checkout units and designated properties.
- Sort, prepare, and stage dirty linens for laundry staff to wash.
- Coordinate with laundry staff to ensure timely washing, drying, and return of clean linens.
- Distribute clean linens to properties and cleaners based on daily schedules.
- Work closely with cleaners and operations coordinators to ensure linen availability for turnovers.
- Manage linen inventory, including tracking usage, shortages, damaged items, and replacements.
- Maintain accurate linen logs and inventory records.
- Identify when linens need to be reordered or replaced and report needs promptly.
- Ensure all linens meet quality standards (clean, complete, and guest-ready).
- Adjust linen plans based on early check-ins, extensions, cancellations, and schedule changes.
- Communicate delays, shortages, or issues immediately to prevent turnover disruptions.
Requirements
- Strong organizational and inventory management skills.
- Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting, sorting, and transporting linens.
- Clear and professional communication skills.
- Comfortable using spreadsheets, tracking tools, or inventory systems.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
Pay: $100.00 - $125.00 per day
