Maintenance Worker

About the position

Responsibilities

  • Perform carpentry repairs to buildings and quarters, including constructing, installing, and replacing items such as doors, shelves, and windows.
  • Apply premixed paints or stains to various surfaces and assist in painting tasks.
  • Conduct plumbing tasks, including replacing fixtures and winterizing water systems.
  • Repair roofs, perform electrical repairs, and conduct masonry work.
  • Operate small craft boats for transporting people and materials within park environments.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Ability to perform the work of a Maintenance Worker without more than normal supervision.
  • Experience in carpentry, painting, electrical, plumbing, and other trades relevant to the position.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to perform strenuous work as required.
  • Knowledge of technical trade terminology, tools, and equipment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with DOI MOCC Certification.
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures in maintenance work.
