About the position
Responsibilities
- Perform carpentry repairs to buildings and quarters, including constructing, installing, and replacing items such as doors, shelves, and windows.
- Apply premixed paints or stains to various surfaces and assist in painting tasks.
- Conduct plumbing tasks, including replacing fixtures and winterizing water systems.
- Repair roofs, perform electrical repairs, and conduct masonry work.
- Operate small craft boats for transporting people and materials within park environments.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Ability to perform the work of a Maintenance Worker without more than normal supervision.
- Experience in carpentry, painting, electrical, plumbing, and other trades relevant to the position.
- Strong work ethic and ability to perform strenuous work as required.
- Knowledge of technical trade terminology, tools, and equipment.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with DOI MOCC Certification.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures in maintenance work.
