MECM Specialist – Platform Management Expert (or SCCM)

<p><strong>We are recruiting for our client a MECM Specialist – Platform Management Expert<br></strong></p><p>Location: Montreal – Hybrid mode (on-site required 3 days per week, including at least one Monday or Friday).<br></p><p><strong>Application Deadline:</strong> September 15, 2025 <strong>Contract Duration (consultant):</strong> Until November 2026 <strong>Hourly Rate: </strong>$70-80/hour (salaried contract also possible) <strong>Weekly Hours:</strong> 40 hours per week (220 days per year, with the possibility of extending to 240 days based on needs). <strong>English CV required.<br><br></strong></p><strong>Context and Mission<br><br><br></strong><p>You will join a team dedicated to managing and optimizing the MECM (Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager) platform for a large-scale corporate environment with over 10,000 workstations. Your role will be central to the maintenance, evolution, and expert support of this platform, including:<br></p><ul> <li>Deployment and customization of Windows clients (Windows 10/11) on workstations.<br> </li> <li>Technical management of MECM servers, including configuration, packaging, patch distribution, and DCM task and task sequence management.<br> </li> <li>Planning, executing, and monitoring software deployments and security updates while minimizing operational risks.<br> </li> <li>Mentoring less experienced team members and providing Level 3 support for end users and other IT teams, including the Service Desk.<br> </li></ul><p>Your expertise will directly contribute to the stability, security, and efficiency of the company’s IT infrastructure, while adhering to ITIL processes and best practices for change management.<br><br><br><br></p>Profil<br><br><p>We are looking for a technical expert with solid experience in managing complex IT environments and in-depth knowledge of MECM/SCCM. You must have:<br></p><ul> <li>Over 7 years of experience in advanced technical support for Microsoft Windows clients (Windows 10/11), as well as MECM/SCCM platform management, including server configuration, package deployment, patch distribution, and DCM policy management.<br> </li> <li>Proven expertise in PowerShell and scripting, enabling you to create, adapt, and deploy automated solutions on workstations.<br> </li> <li>Strong knowledge of ITIL methodologies, particularly in incident, problem, and change management, as well as proficiency in Active Directory (user, group, group policy, and computer object management).<br> </li> <li>Understanding of application lifecycle processes, especially for migrations and updates.<br> </li> <li>Project management skills and excellent English communication (mandatory working language, as the role covers the Americas region).<br> </li> <li>A proactive, service-oriented attitude, and occasional availability to intervene outside regular business hours (8 AM to 6 PM) if needed.<br> </li> <li>A university degree (bachelor’s) or equivalent experience is required.<br> <br><br><br></li></ul>Informations contractuelles<br><br>You will work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, where your expertise will be leveraged to solve diverse technical challenges and support the transformation of IT infrastructure.
