Outside Sales Representative - Commercial et Industrial- EN

Reporting to the Estimating Supervisor, the incumbent will be responsible, among other things, for handling requests related to commercial products submitted to the department. He will act as a support and reference for external sales representatives in the Montreal territory, the company's purchasing group and logistics.<br><br><strong>Bidding Phase<br><br></strong>What you will accomplish with us:<br><br><ul><li> Analyze plans & specifications and proposals</li><li> Identify products to be bid on plans & specifications and proposals</li><li> Actively participate in the completion of tasks</li><li> Select products from manufacturers' pricing software</li><li> Ensure that products bid meet the requirements of plans & specifications and proposals, and involve external representatives in the process</li><li> Prepare bids to be sent to contractors<br><br></li></ul><strong>Sales Phase<br><br></strong><ul><li> Follow-up on proposals worked out with customers and representatives</li><li> Adjust bids in preparation for negotiations</li><li> Negotiate or participate in proposal negotiations</li><li> Ensure the updating of notes related to the evolution of worked proposals.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Project Management Phase<br><br></strong><ul><li> Evaluate the technical content of plans & specifications as well as proposals, and ensure that products sold meet specified requirements, in conjunction with external representatives and the Technical Manager as required.</li><li> Actively participate in meetings to establish closure strategies for key projects.</li><li> Follow project from qualification phase to completion.</li><li> Provide technical support to customers, representatives and team.</li><li> Act as a facilitator throughout the project completion process.</li><li> Act as an ambassador for quality in projects.<br><br></li></ul><strong>What You Bring To Our Team<br><br></strong><ul><li> Advanced technical knowledge of building mechanics</li><li> Ability to communicate effectively and in a structured manner</li><li> Ability to build relationships with customers (internal & external) and suppliers</li><li> Strong planning skills</li><li> Autonomy and rigor in managing priorities</li><li> Strong sales skills</li><li> Bilingualism (French / English) - Need to interact on a regular basis with our internal and/or external Master Group collaborators across the country.
