Quality Assurance Test Analyst / Payroll QAT Specialist

We have been dedicated to delivering cutting-edge consulting services and recruiting all levels of IT positions for our clients.</p><p><br></p><p>We are currently seeking competent individuals to fulfill the role of <strong>Quality Assurance Test Analyst </strong>to join our dynamic team for our client, one of the <strong>major banks.</strong></p><p><br></p><p>Hybrid: <strong>2 days in office.</strong> (Anchor days: Monday and Thursday)</p><p>Contract Duration: <strong>8 months with extension possible</strong></p><p><strong>Possibility of extension: Yes</strong></p><p><strong>Possibility conversion to FTE: Yes (Based on business needs)</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Typical Day in Role:</u></strong></p><p>• Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.</p><p>• Prepare, coordinate and execute test cases for HR Application system/integrations changes to ensure timely delivery of quality products/functions consistent with the business needs and priorities of Global HR. Troubleshoot when problems arise and contribute to their resolution in a hands-on manner when necessary.</p><p>• Assesses QAT results and takes appropriate action; works closely with the development group to resolve defects; makes recommendations to release the code to Production.</p><p>• Writes QAT test documentation (strategies, test cases, results and exit reports).</p><p>• Forecasts workday estimates for projects and business as usual activities.</p><p>• Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.</p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:</u></strong></p><p>1. Minimum working experience of 5+ years as QAT.</p><p>2. Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience with SAP HR/HCM are required.</p><p>3. 5+ years of exp with Canadian Payroll year-end activities with wage and hour payroll practices is a must. Experience in various SAP Canadian payroll Infotypes in PA30, personnel actions using PA40 and payroll process</p><p>4. Strong experience working with integration functionality between Payroll and Finance postings is required.</p><p>5. 5+ years of Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test documentation such as test plans, test scenarios, test cases and test result reports.</p><p>6. Strong Microsoft Office skills required. (VLOOKUP, pivots, databases)</p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Nice-To-Have Skills:</u></strong></p><p>• Experience in SAP SuccessFactors is an asset.</p><p>• Sound knowledge of Waterfall and Agile delivery framework.</p><p>• Excellent knowledge of testing standards and methodologies.</p><p>• Intermediate SQL (Structured Query Language) skills</p><p>• Working knowledge of Jira</p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Soft Skills Required:</u></strong></p><p>• Able to effectively communicate in a clear and succinct manner and must be able to interface and effectively influence at all organizational levels. Ability to handle conflict with confidence and integrity.</p><p>• Must be self-confident and self- motivated with ability to work independently with minimal supervision.</p><p>• Superior organizational and analytical skills required.</p><p>• Strong ability to work as a team player.</p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Education:</u></strong></p><p>- Bachelors degree in related filed</p><p>- SAP Payroll certification and SAP EC Certified is highly preferred</p>
