[Remote] Claim Advisor Auto

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Allstate Insurance Company of Canada is looking to hire a Claim Advisor, Auto to join their Maritimes team. The role involves reviewing insurance policies, investigating complex automobile claims, and settling claims in accordance with organizational policies.


Responsibilities

  • Review insurance policy and coverages
  • Investigate complex automobile claims (i.e.: impaired, unlisted operator or non-drivable) and determine coverage and liability
  • Settle claims in accordance with organization’s policies and practices.
  • Required to collaborate with the customer, service suppliers (i.e. towing, repair shops), other insurance companies and law enforcement

Skills

  • Minimum high school education or equivalent
  • Bilingual language fluency (English/French)
  • Adjusting License Level 1 or equivalent
  • 1 - 3 years handling complex automobile claims is required
  • Knowledge in understanding and interpreting policies
  • Commitment to providing outstanding customer service
  • Proficient keyboard skills and computer literacy
  • Enrolled in (or willing to enroll in) CIP designation
