[Remote] SGRE Certified Wind Technician

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. They are seeking a SGRE Level 5 Certified Maintenance Travel Wind Technician, responsible for conducting maintenance, performing repairs, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards while traveling extensively.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct maintenance of equipment (fueling, lubrication, etc.)
  • Operate a motor vehicle safely and legally per the PEARCE Renewables Employee handbook and insurance requirements.
  • Perform Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) as required to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Complete and maintain required company and client documentation and records, using computer-based service reporting tools and procedures.
  • Perform other daily work requirements as directed by supervisor with general supervision.

Skills

  • SGRE Level 5 Certified Maintenance Travel Wind Technician
  • Family 2 Maintenance Technician certified on the G129, G132 and G145 platforms
  • Ability to perform maintenance, minor to medium repairs (non-crane related), design modifications/retrofits and special projects
  • Maintain certifications in all areas required by position
  • Conduct maintenance of equipment (fueling, lubrication, etc.)
  • Operate a motor vehicle safely and legally per the PEARCE Renewables Employee handbook and insurance requirements
  • Perform Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) as required to maintain a safe working environment
  • Complete and maintain required company and client documentation and records, using computer-based service reporting tools and procedures
  • Ability and willingness to climb a wind turbine vertically at least 300 feet
  • Maintain a weight between 120 and 280 pounds, including clothing and boots, for OSHA safety compliance
  • Lift and move equipment as needed (more than 50 pounds)
  • Work in an indoor or outdoor environment in adverse weather conditions with blowing pollen, dust, and grasses
  • SGRE qualified training profile
