[Remote] SGRE Certified Wind Technician

Pearce Services is the nation’s leading independent service provider for critical telecommunication and renewable energy infrastructure. They are seeking a SGRE Level 5 Certified Maintenance Travel Wind Technician, responsible for conducting maintenance, performing repairs, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards while traveling extensively.
Responsibilities
- Conduct maintenance of equipment (fueling, lubrication, etc.)
- Operate a motor vehicle safely and legally per the PEARCE Renewables Employee handbook and insurance requirements.
- Perform Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) as required to maintain a safe working environment.
- Complete and maintain required company and client documentation and records, using computer-based service reporting tools and procedures.
- Perform other daily work requirements as directed by supervisor with general supervision.
Skills
- SGRE Level 5 Certified Maintenance Travel Wind Technician
- Family 2 Maintenance Technician certified on the G129, G132 and G145 platforms
- Ability to perform maintenance, minor to medium repairs (non-crane related), design modifications/retrofits and special projects
- Maintain certifications in all areas required by position
- Conduct maintenance of equipment (fueling, lubrication, etc.)
- Operate a motor vehicle safely and legally per the PEARCE Renewables Employee handbook and insurance requirements
- Perform Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) as required to maintain a safe working environment
- Complete and maintain required company and client documentation and records, using computer-based service reporting tools and procedures
- Ability and willingness to climb a wind turbine vertically at least 300 feet
- Maintain a weight between 120 and 280 pounds, including clothing and boots, for OSHA safety compliance
- Lift and move equipment as needed (more than 50 pounds)
- Work in an indoor or outdoor environment in adverse weather conditions with blowing pollen, dust, and grasses
- SGRE qualified training profile
