Right of Way Document Specialist
About the position
Responsibilities
- Partner with Project Managers, Assistant Managers, and ROW agents in data entry and filing activities.
- Create and update project status reports.
- Draft introduction letters and develop offer packages.
- Prepare scopes and conduct market data studies.
- Review and check documentation for accuracy and ensure final quality control of documents.
- File original documents in the right of way records system.
- Ensure successful project closeout.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years experience in the Right of Way Industry or as a Real Estate paralegal.
- Technical documentation experience related to land and right of way acquisition processes.
- Experience with public records research, land title ownership, and encumbrances.
- Due diligence review of right of way files and understanding of relevant clauses and restrictions.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Possession of an iOS or Android smartphone for system access.
