Sales Executive – Healthcare Trade Show

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to join our Healthcare trade show. The candidate will be responsible for selling exhibition booths, sponsorship packages, and conference opportunities for healthcare events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sell exhibition space, sponsorship packages, and conference participation opportunities for healthcare trade shows and conferences.
  • Identify and approach potential exhibitors, sponsors, healthcare companies, and industry partners through cold calling, email marketing, networking, and meetings.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients within the healthcare and medical industry.
  • Prepare quotations, proposals, presentations, and sales reports.
  • Achieve assigned sales targets and KPIs.
  • Follow up on leads and manage the full sales cycle from enquiry to closing.
  • Coordinate with marketing and operations teams to ensure smooth event execution.
  • Attend industry events, networking sessions, and site visits when required.
  • Maintain accurate client records and updates in the CRM/database.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Mass Communication, Event Management, Healthcare Management, or related field.
  • 1–2 years as a Medical Sales Representative (preferably in the medical device or medical consumables distributor).
  • Experience in exhibition, event, healthcare, pharmaceutical, medical device, or B2B sales will be an added advantage.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Confident in speaking with clients and conducting presentations.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and target-oriented.
  • Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Additional language skills, such as Mandarin, will be an advantage where the role requires communication with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
