Senior Mechanical Engineer (Data Centers)
Our client, a leading M&E Contractor is on the looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to manage their upcoming projects.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all assigned mechanical and/or electrical project works from start to completion
- Check and evaluate shop drawings, technical submissions, and method statements for accuracy and compliance
- Monitor on-site work progress and address any technical or coordination challenges efficiently
- Work closely with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution
- Ensure all installations meet approved specifications, drawings, and relevant authority regulations
- Supervise testing, commissioning, and handover activities to ensure systems are fully operational
- Track material usage and confirm compliance with approved project requirements
- Attend coordination and technical meetings to provide engineering support and recommendations
- Enforce workplace safety practices and ensure compliance with the Company’s Quality Control Plan (QCP)
- Prepare progress reports and assist with project costing, variation orders, and related assessments
- Carry out any additional project or engineering duties assigned by management
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field
- Minimum 3 years or more experiences in construction projects, preferably with data center, mission-critical or large scales building projects
- Experienced in managing on-site project execution and coordinating works with contractors, consultants, and project teams
- Able to work under pressure and tight project timelines
