Location: Elkridge, MD 21211
Pay: $19.00/hourly
Shift: Full-time (Contract to Hire)
Hours: 8-hours (10am-6pm M-F)

Job Overview of Warehouse Generalist/Shipping & Receiving:
We are looking for a candidate to manage receiving, shipping, and the overall warehouse operations efficiently and on schedule. Knowledge of the electronics manufacturing industry would be beneficial for this role. The ideal candidate must be able to multitask while remaining focused, highly organized and enthusiastic. He/She should possess a creative approach to problem-solving and demonstrate strong attention to detail. The ability to work effectively with minimal oversight is essential as well as capability to thrive in a team environment.

Warehouse Generalist/Shipping & Receiving Responsibilities:

  • Individual must be experienced in the shipping, receiving, and maintaining inventory of parts.
  • Strict attention to detail and critical thinking skills a must.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to communicate and interface daily with customers, suppliers, co-workers, and management team.
  • Duties include packaging, labelling, and shipping out customer orders to meet stringent delivery deadlines.
  • Receiving vendor orders, verifying parts/quantities, and part inspection.
  • Handling all aspects of inventory control.
  • Pulling parts for assembly job kits including wire/cable prep (cutting/stripping), labelling, and testing of assemblies.

Warehouse Generalist/Shipping & Receiving Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience in electronics manufacturing/production is a plus.
  • Highly organized with the ability to multi-task.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills; ability to work with alone or with a team. Strong computer skills; at ease with learning new program software; prior experience with an ERP program a plus.
  • Able to be on feet, walking between storage racks/departments most of the day.
  • Able to lift heavy packages/reels, up to 80 lbs., on a regular basis.
  • Willing to assist in other duties of the company, as this is a smaller production operation and staff needs to be flexible to assist in all areas as time and needs require.
  • Ability to read & follow work instructions, assist with other production activities such as wire measuring, prepping, labelling, and testing.
