Warehouse Inventory Specialist

Foxhound Bee Company is looking for the right person for our Warehouse

Inventory Specialist position who can help us by receiving, stocking, and maintaining

inventory organization, transferring inventory between warehouse and store locations,

picking items for pick up orders and shipping, and assisting in keeping our warehouse

clean and organized.

Foxhound Bee Company started in 2004, and our focus is on teaching and

equipping all levels of beekeepers. We are known for our high-quality beekeeping

supplies, and we also hold classes and open-hive demonstrations for customers

throughout the year to educate them about honeybees.

Currently, we are located in downtown Birmingham, but we are expanding to a

new location, warehouse, and retail store in Irondale, Alabama.

Foxhound Bee Company is a small company with a dedicated staff that works

hard to get the job done. We are easy to work with and love to help each other out. We

all have different strengths and are excited to add another person to our team.

Position:

This position is perfect for the person who commits to 40 hours a week, is a fast

learner, and is highly focused on details and organization.

Warehouse Inventory Specialist position responsibilities:

 Maintaining all inventory organization and cleanliness

 Receiving and stocking inventory from daily drop-offs and freight deliveries

 Receiving customer returns for restock or exchange

 Learning and utilizing our shipping/receiving software for receipts and label

printing

 Transferring and shipping inventory between warehouse locations or our

storefront

 Labeling inventory with proper barcodes for tracking, transfers, or shipping

 Picking inventory for customer pickups or shipping

 Assisting with shipping customer online orders when demand is high

 Working with the warehouse team on other general projects as needed

Qualifications:

 Experience and proficiency with forklift, pallet jack, and material handling is

required

 Experience with using computers for inventory tracking or similar purposes

 Familiarity with warehouse inventory organization, order picking and packing

 Capable of working together with a warehouse team

 Being Diligent, Neat, and Organized! 

 Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50lbs)
